<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami evacuation facility which enables many residents who settle in a coastal area to promptly evacuate when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: A tsunami evacuation facility 10 comprises: an underground floor 14; a plurality of residence floors 16; a roof 18; a stair shaft 20 which communicates the underground floor 14 with the roof 18; a floor face opening section to be an entrance to the underground floor; and a waterproof hatch which seals the floor face opening section in a watertight state. The stair shaft 20: has wall surfaces with waterproof property; also has a ventilation ditch 32 and a door way 26 at an upper end thereof; is communicated with the underground floor 14 at a lower end thereof; secures aeration property between the underground floor 14 and the roof 18 therethrough; and allows people to move between the underground floor 14 and the roof 18 with stairs 22 provided therein.</p> |
