PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a fan clutch which can reduce a restart of an engine resulting from power supply to the fan clutch, and a control method.SOLUTION: A clutch ECU 30 for controlling an electronic control type fan clutch 13 which controls an output shaft 11a of an engine 11 and a fan 14 to cut-off states by power supply from a battery 15 during an idling stop acquires a battery voltage Vb from a vehicle ECU 20, and blocks the power supply to the fan clutch 13 on condition that the battery voltage Vb reaches a lower limit voltage value Vmin at which the engine 11 can be restarted during the idling stop. |
