PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb type luminaire with high safety.SOLUTION: A bulb type luminaire includes a light emitter 30 having a semiconductor element, a cover member 10, a radiator P for radiating heat generated by the light emitter, a power source circuit substrate 50, a cylindrical storage case 60 communicating from one end face to the other end face, and a base 80. The radiator has opposite thick parts. The light emitter 30 has a generally rectangle shape, and is arranged in the radiator in a direction of the thick parts having opposite longitudinal directions. The light emitter 30 is fixed to the radiator by a holder 20. A holding part of the holder 20 for holding the cover member 10 is arranged on the same line as the holding member from a central axis in a short direction of the bulb type luminaire 100. The holder 20 is fixed to the radiator by a screw S. An engaging pawl 24 of the holder 20 for holding the cover member 10 is arranged on a line connecting a through hole 21 of the screw S in the holder 20 and the center of the holder 20. |
