PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary holding structure which achieves improvements of the holding power and the workability.SOLUTION: A temporary holding structure 1 temporarily holds an electric connection box 2 on another electric connection box 3 in an assembly process of a vehicle. A frame 20 of the electric connection box 2 is provided with a pair of lock arms 4, each of which is composed of an arm part 41 and a protruding part 42 protruding from a tip of the arm part 41. Engagement parts 5 with which the respective lock arms 4 are engaged, first taper surfaces 6, each of which is located adjacent to the engagement part 5, and second taper surfaces 7 are provided at a frame 30 of another electric connection box 3. Each lock arm 4 moves so as to draw an L shaped locus while sliding on the first taper surface 6 to smoothly engage with the engagement part 5. The lock arm 4 is guided by the second taper surface 7 to smoothly move to the first taper surface 6 side when being disengaged from the engagement part 5. |
