PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting balun transformer the occupation area of which is reduced on a circuit board.SOLUTION: A surface mounting balun transformer consists of a spectacle type core 20 having a plurality of through holes 21a, 21b, a base 30 having a mounting surface for mounting the spectacle type core 20, and a plurality of metal terminals planted on the base 30. The metal terminal has entangle portions 41a-43a exposed from the opposite side faces of the base, and a mounting portion exposed from a side face orthogonal to the opposite side faces. On the side face of the base between adjacent entangle portions, protrusions 31, 32 are provided to protrude in the outer circumferential direction of the base, and to protrude upward from the mounting surface. |
