<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent identity theft in checking drunk driving.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system 10 includes: an alcohol detector 11 detecting alcohol while targeted for a vehicle driver; and a vehicle control unit 21 detecting whether or not the driver is in a drunk state in accordance with the detection result by the alcohol detector 11. The vehicle control unit 21 starts detection by the alcohol detector 11 while the vehicle is moving just after initial startup after starting of the vehicle, and stops the vehicle by a travel control unit 22 when detecting that the driver is in a drunk state. The vehicle control unit 21 does not start detection by the alcohol detector 11 again until a shift position turns to at least either of the case where the shift position is operated into a position other than a travelling position, or the case where operation of a parking brake is performed after finishing the detection by the alcohol detector 11.</p> |
