The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing multiple emulsion with high monodispersity using a microfluidic device with a simple structure. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing emulsion using a microfluidic device that is composed of a dispersed phase inlet, a continuous phase inlet, an outlet, one junction point where a microchannel connected to the dispersed phase inlet intersects with a microchannel connected to the continuous phase inlet, and a microchannel for reaction connected from the junction point to the outlet. Dispersed phase, which is inserted into the dispersed phase inlet, is a solution in which a dispersant is dissolved in a dispersed phase solvent. Continuous phase, which is inserted into the continuous phase inlet, is a solution in which a phase separator is dissolved in a continuous phase solvent that is not mixed with the dispersed phase. The phase separator has a distribution factor of 0.3 to 6.0 with respect to the dispersant and the continuous phase solvent. The multiple structure of generated emulsion is determined by changing the concentration of the dispersant in the dispersed phase. |
