PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which in-plane bending rigidity is increased to improve cornering force and out-of-plane bending rigidity is decreased to enhance a grounding property and improve lap time, which can suppress buckling and improve dropping resistance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has a carcass layer 4 and belt layers 7 and 8 made of at least two layers of non-metal materials, in which a lower belt reinforcing layer 10 is arranged between the innermost belt layer 7 and the carcass layer 4. An inclination angle &thetas; toward a tire circumferential direction of a reinforcing cord 10a constituting the lower belt reinforcing layer 10 is set to be within 0±10° and a width w of the lower belt reinforcing layer 10 is equal to 80% or more and 110% or less of a width W of the innermost belt layer 7, while a rigidity coefficient Gin an end region 10s of the lower belt reinforcing layer 10 is set to be lower than a rigidity coefficient Gin a center region 10c of the lower belt reinforcing layer 10. |
