PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger that is sufficiently applicable to high speed rotation and excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: A turbocharger 1 includes: a turbine wheel 20; a compressor wheel 40; a rotor shaft 10 coupling the turbine wheel and the compressor wheel and rotatably journaled inside a bearing housing 11. In the turbocharger 1, the rotor shaft 10 is formed of a high rigidity material, a joint collar 30 having a groove part 31 at the peripheral surface thereof is interposed between the rotor shaft 10 and the turbine wheel 20 to coupling them to each other, and the joint collar 30 is formed of a material that has rigidity lower than that of the rotor shaft 10. |
