摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly discharge a surface of a photoreceptor by a discharge device with a plurality of light-emitting devices arranged in an axial direction of the photoreceptor after a toner image is transferred from the photoreceptor to an intermediate transfer belt.SOLUTION: A first density sensor 31 and a second density sensor 32 are provided for detecting toner density of toner applied to an intermediate transfer belt, in a position where a large quantity of light is emitted from a discharge device to a surface of a photoreceptor and a position where a small quantity of light is emitted, in discharging the surface of the photoreceptor by the discharge device 15, which includes a plurality of light-emitting devices 15a arranged in an axial direction of the photoreceptor, after transferring a toner image from the photoreceptor 11 to the intermediate transfer belt 22. When a difference of the detected toner density exceeds a predetermined threshold, the discharge control device 34 performs additional discharge operation by means of a discharge control device 34.
