Disclosed is a rectangular LED lighting device which is directly connected to alternating current power. The rectangular LED lighting device comprises: a printed circuit board having a circuit pattern to electrically connect LEDs; a rectifying unit to rectify an alternating current voltage to be converted and outputted as a rectification voltage of a direct current; an LED light emitting unit which receives the rectification voltage to be driven and includes a first light emitting block to an n^th light emitting block (n is two or more positive integers) that are linearly arranged on the printed circuit board; and an LED driving control unit to sequentially drive a first light emitting group to an m^th light emitting group (m is two or more positive integers) that respectively include n LEDs according to a voltage level of the rectification voltage outputted from the rectifying unit, wherein each of the first light emitting block to the n^th light emitting block includes a first LED to m^th LED that are linearly arranged, and each of the first LED to the m^th LED is sequentially turned on/off according to the voltage level of the rectification voltage. |
