PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow operation of attachment/detachment operation of a hanger suspending and supporting a retractor and movably provided along a rail to/from the rail on the ground to reduce work cost.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device is movably provided with a hanger 10 suspending and supporting a retractor along a guide groove 6 of a rail 1, and is provided with a stopper member 40 in an end part of the rail 1. A string-equipped ring 60 is hanged on a hook 51 provided in a tip part of an operation rod 50, the string-equipped ring 60 is re-hanged on a bent piece 42a provided in a tip part of an upper side plate part 42 of the stopper member 40, the stopper member 40 is swung by pulling-down of a string 61 hanging down from the ring 60, and the tip of a lower side plate part 43 is evacuated outside the guide groove 6 to bring it into an open state. A pair of facing engagement frame parts 52 provided in the tip part of the operation rod 50 is engaged with both side edge parts of the hanger 10, and the hanger 10 is extracted from the opening end of the rail 1 and is put down onto the ground by operation to pull the operation rod 50. |
