PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of selecting a suitable power supply disconnection method to disconnect a power supply depending on a user's request from a remote location.SOLUTION: An image formation device has: means for receiving a power supply disconnection request that specifies at least one power supply disconnection mode of a plurality of the power supply disconnection modes for disconnecting a power supply of the image formation device, from requesting means connected via a network; means for selecting a power supply disconnection mode in which the power supply can be disconnected, from the plurality of power supply disconnection modes when the power supply cannot be disconnected in the at least one power supply disconnection mode; and means for notifying the requesting means of the power supply disconnection mode selected.
