PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when multiple recording/reproducing a hologram using a multi-angle system, if a medium is expanded/contracted due to a temperature in particular, an optimal light source wavelength-setting value may change according to each reference light angle.SOLUTION: An information recording/reproducing apparatus records information in an information recording medium using a hologram and/or reproduces the information from the information recording medium. The information recording/reproducing apparatus includes: a wavelength variable light source that can change a wavelength of the outgoing light; a wavelength control unit that controls the wavelength of the outgoing light in the wavelength variable light source; a light split element that splits the outgoing light into signal light and reference light; and a reference light incident angle control unit that controls an incident angle of the reference light with respect to the information recording medium. When recording and/or reproducing information to/from the information recording medium, the wavelength control unit changes the wavelength according to the reference light incident angle.
