PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotary electric machine, which detects, among a plurality of coils disposed in the stator used in the rotary electric machine, the temperature of the coil that has the maximum temperature.SOLUTION: The stator for a rotary electric machine comprises: coils of a plurality of phases, which are arranged in an annular form within a stator ring fitted to the fitting part of a housing and are wound to form a stator core; a power supply part that supplies power to the coil of the plurality of phases; and a cooling-oil storage part storing, in the bottom of the housing, cooling oil scraped up by the rotation of a rotor and used for dissipating heat generated by the coil. A temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the coil is disposed between the coils disposed in the maximum temperature position in the upper part of the stator core, where it is difficult to circulate the cooling oil scraped up by the rotor. |
