<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length measurement correction method applicable even during operation of production lines.SOLUTION: A length measurement correction method includes: a detection step for detecting an object 6 under measurement being conveyed using a first stock sensor 14a and a second stock sensor 14b; a rotation number acquisition step for acquiring an actual number of rotation of a length measuring roller 9 for measuring the length of the object 6 under measurement while travelling from the first stock sensor 14a to the second stock sensor 14b; a computation step for computing a correction factor from a distance from the first stock sensor 14a to the second stock sensor 14b and the actual number of rotation acquired in the rotation number acquisition step; and a correction step for applying the correction factor to a measured length value of the object 6 under measurement obtained by the length measuring roller 9.</p> |
