<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemically tempered glass plate whose end surface is easily and precisely coated with a resin.SOLUTION: The chemically tempered glass plate has opposing front and rear main surfaces and end surfaces connecting between the main surfaces. In the front and rear main surfaces, a compressive stress layer is formed, and the chemically tempered glass plate has a tensile stress layer between the front and rear compressive stress layers. The end surface has a recessed part which is retreated from a plane perpendicular to the main surfaces.</p> |
