摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a prediction error in number predicted value of the number of remaining bugs in the timing of releasing in software development by using a reliability growth model and a Rayleigh model.SOLUTION: Development management information of each development item is classified by development processes, a prediction error rate and a standard deviation in prediction error rate are previously stored in prediction error storage means, and a maximum bug detection process in which values of bugs become maximum is determined with respect to a Rayleigh model according to the number of bugs generated from a design process to a test process of software development and a process period. Based upon the maximum bug detection process determined by maximum bug detection process determination means, a prediction error rate of the maximum bug detection process is calculated from a prediction error and a source scale obtained by reference to the prediction error storage means, a distribution of prediction error rates is analyzed through statistical processing to find a standard deviation, which is multiplied by a source scale to estimate prediction precision.</p>
