PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detector and a method for assembling the pressure detector, capable of shortening the time of assembly work and performing efficient assembly work.SOLUTION: A pressure detector 10 includes a case 14 in which a hole part 14a through which gas in a tire 102 passes is formed in a penetrating state in a bottom surface 14b thereof, a plurality of support column members 16 erected on the bottom surface 14b of the case 14, a substrate 12 in which a sensor IC 110 arranged oppositely to the bottom surface 14b of the case 14 and having a detection hole 110a on the lower surface side thereof is provided and which has a plurality of attachment holes 12a through which the taper parts 16a of the support column members 16 can be inserted, and a packing 18 in which a through-hole 18a for communicating upper and lower end surfaces is formed. The case 14 and the substrate 12 are fixed by a resin material in such a state that the packing 18 is held between the case 14 and the sensor IC 110.
