PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt laser welding method capable of securing strength of a welded part where two resin parts are butted, and to provide a welded product thereby.SOLUTION: A first protruding part 12 is provided on a base material of a first resin part 2, and a first concave part 5 is provided at a root portion thereof in an edge of the base material. Similarly, a second protruding part 13 is provided on a base material of a second resin part 3, and a second concave part 6 is provided at a root portion thereof in an edge of the base material. The first resin part 2 and the second resin part 3 are butted by pressing from the rears of them, and while pressing down the first protruding part 12 and the second protruding part 13 from the top with a laser beam-transmitting jig 15, laser beams are irradiated to the first protruding part 12, the second protruding part 13 and a butted part 14 through the laser beam-transmitting jig 15 to melt these parts. The molten resin flows into a hole part 7 so that the first resin part 2 is connected with the second resin part 3 after solidification of the molten resin. |
