<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicarrier communication system or the like capable of selecting a communication line used for transmission appropriately including a change in the physical state of each communication line.SOLUTION: A multicarrier communication system comprises a plurality of communication lines 2a, 2b, etc., a plurality of transmission/reception devices 3a, 3b, etc., for converting, for each communication line, a signal to be communicated into a transmission signal used for transmission to a destination at the other end of the communication line, and a multicarrier transmission device 4 for selecting any of the transmission/reception devices for sending the signal to be communicated, the multicarrier transmission device 4 being provided with: a switching execution unit 5 for switching a flow of the signal to be communicated to any of the transmission/reception devices; a profile collection unit 6 for storing the reception characteristic per communication line recorded by each transmission/reception device in a profile storage unit previously provided as a profile of the communication line concerned; and a line selection unit 7 for determining, on the basis of the profile of each communication line and priority information previously included in the signal to be communicated, which of the transmission/reception devices is to be used for the flow.</p> |
