摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device which can grip a load without positioning of the device at a specified position of the load.SOLUTION: A gripping device (1) comprises: a parallel linkage (2) having an upper link part (21), a lower link part (22), a front link part (23) and a rear link part (24); an engaging part (3) connected to an upper end of the front link part (23); and a receiving part (4) connected to a forward end of the lower link part (22). Either one of the engaging part (3) and the receiving part (4) includes a gripping claw which receives a reaction force from a held body (70) when contacting the held body (70) and sandwiches the held body (70) between the one engaging part (3) or receiving part (4) and the other engaging part (3) or receiving part (4) by rotation of the parallel linkage (2). The gripping claw is curved and extended from the one engaging part (3) or receiving part (4) to the other engaging part (3) or receiving part (4).</p>
