PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine or wind generator system, capable of improving cooling performance without degrading thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a stator having a stator winding; a rotor disposed on the inner-diameter side of the stator spaced therefrom; a shaft 4 fixed on the rotor and rotating along with the rotor; and a heat pipe 5 disposed over the outside from the inside of the shaft 4. A portion disposed on the outside of the shaft 4, of the heat pipe 5, is smaller in the radius of gyration thereof than a portion disposed on the inside of the shaft 4. |
