PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber capable of preventing the peeling between a reservoir and a coating layer that may occur under use environment (particularly under wet conditions), the absorber having the reservoir for temporarily reserving liquid, an absorbent core for absorbing the liquid reserved in the reservoir, and the coating layer for coating the absorbent core, and to provide an absorbent article with the same.SOLUTION: An absorber (4) has a reservoir (41) for temporarily reserving liquid, an absorbent core (42) for absorbing the liquid reserved in the reservoir (41), a coating layer (43a) for coating the surface of the reservoir side of the absorbent core (42), and an integration part (44) for integrating the reservoir (41) and the coating layer (43a). The reservoir (41) contains a cellulosic absorbent fiber, and a thermoplastic resin fiber containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid, an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride or those mixtures as a monomer component. The absorbent core (42) contains a superabsorbent polymer material, and the coating layer (43a) provides the absorber (4) containing the cellulosic absorbent fiber. |
