PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector with an ejection mechanism having excellent operability in inserting/ejecting a card body such as an IC card into/from a housing.SOLUTION: A card ejection mechanism 6 comprises: an ejector 11 which slides, together with a card body A, the upper side of an inner bottom face of a card insertion part 2 in a card insertion/ejection direction; a metal rotary lever 10 which is rotatably supported on a depth side in the card insertion/ejection direction of the card insertion part 2, and whose one end is relatively movably connected to an upper face of the ejector 11; and a push bar 12 which pushes the other end of the rotary lever 10 so as to rotate the rotary lever 10 in a direction to move the ejector 11 to a card ejection position P2 side. The rotary lever 10 is supported to a housing 3 via the ejector 11 and is held at a position H2 which is higher than a projection height H1 of an elastic contact piece 50. |
