PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of storing log information in an energy saving mode without influencing performance of image processing.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: means that acquires log information of the image forming device; energy saving mode control means that controls transition to an energy saving mode for reducing power consumption of the image forming device and recovery from the energy saving mode; and writing destination control means that switches a storage destination of the log information in response to transition to the energy saving mode and recovery from the energy saving mode.
