<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a broadcast including a data signal in a broadcast signal, and to perform appropriate reception processing.SOLUTION: Under the condition where reception quality of a data desired station broadcast wave being received is satisfactory, for a predetermined period in which road traffic information is not included in a data broadcast signal (e.g., a period in which a block A of RSD data is being received), a control section 185 allows both RF processing units 120and 120to select an audio desired station designated by a user. The control section 185 then evaluates reception quality of signals IFDand IFDoutputted from the RF processing units 120and 120during the predetermined period. On the basis of the reception quality of the signals IFDand IFDduring the predetermined period, the control section 185 continuously allows the RF processing unit which selects an audio desired broadcast wave of more satisfactory reception quality to select an audio desired station and allows the other RF processing unit to select a data desired station.</p> |
