<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror drive auxiliary apparatus allowing a brake of a mirror drive to operate and capable of accelerating the mirror drive by a kinetic energy of the mirror to be lost by the brake and restricting a biasing toward a standstill mirror.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus having a mirror capable of rotating in a reciprocable manner between a light guide position and a retreat position includes: a contact member movably supported by contacting with a surface of the light guide position side of the mirror during a rotation of the mirror between a light guide position and a rotation middle position located in the middle of a rotation track to the retreat position of the light guide position; a biasing spring compressed by pressing the contact member by the mirror when the mirror is rotated to a direction of the light guide position; a fixing mechanism fixing the contact member pressed by the rotation to the direction of the guide light position of the mirror and holding the biasing spring in a compressed state; and a fixing release mechanism for releasing the fixing of the contact member by the fixing mechanism.</p> |
