<p>The present invention relates to a power supply of an emergency lamp using a fluorescent light as a light source, and more particularly to a power supply of an emergency lamp for a fluorescent light in which a static switch unit for supplying commercial electric power or power of a battery to a fluorescent light has excellent operational reliability and stopping discharging of the battery if the battery is discharged to a discharging terminating voltage to protect the power supply. The power supply of an emergency lamp for a fluorescent light includes: a stabilizer for switching on a fluorescent light with input commercial power; a battery; a charging unit for charging the battery; an oscillation unit for oscillating power of the battery to switch on the fluorescent light; a static electricity detection unit for detecting static electricity of the commercial power; a static switch unit for connecting the fluorescent light to the stabilizer or the oscillation unit according to detection of static electricity of the static electricity detection unit; and a check switch for operating the static switch unit such that the oscillation unit and the fluorescent light are connected to each other in an on state. The static switch unit includes: a relay for connecting or interrupting the battery to or from the oscillation unit; a driving transistor which is turned on if the static electricity detection unit detects static electricity to driving the relay such that the relay is switched on; a maintenance resistor for maintaining an turned on state of the driving transistor with electric power of the battery if the relay is switched on; and an off resistor for switching off the relay if a voltage of the battery becomes a discharging terminating voltage or less.</p> |
