<p>PURPOSE: A Bacillus strain is provided to promote plant growth or to prevent plant diseases, thereby producing a novel eco-friendly crop protection agent which is substituted for chemical agrochemicals or chemical fertilizers. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum 5B6 (KCTC 12139BP) promotes plant growth or prevents plant diseases with a superior leaf colonizing ability. A microorganism formulation for promoting plant growth or preventing plant diseases contains the strain or a mixture thereof as an active ingredient. The plant is a tree or a red pepper. The plant diseases are shot hole or canker.</p> |
