The present invention relates to a wheelchair lifting device which can normally be used as stairs and which is capable of safely lifting a wheelchair to the floor of a bus where seats are positioned when the disabled or elderly board the bus. For the purpose of the present invention, the wheelchair lifting device comprises masts, each of which includes a hydraulic cylinder and is positioned to face each other at both sides of the rear part of a bus entrance door; an elevating foothold connected to piston rods of the hydraulic cylinders of the masts and elevated up and down by an elevating means; a supplementary foothold installed to be rotated by a rotating means in the upper part of the elevating foothold; and a control unit which controls the operation of the elevating means and the rotating means so that the elevating foothold interlocks with the supplementary foothold. |
