Provided in the present invention are an illuminating lamp and a vehicle head lamp using light emitting diodes, which can have a long life by being used at constant efficiency for a long time to obtain large output with low electricity, and can have a simple and compact structure. Light source supporting bodies, connected by copper thermal conductive bars, are composed of an upper structure and a lower structure. For the upper structure, an aluminum plate, which is attached with a semiconductor substrate mounted with light emitting diodes, is directly fixated to the copper thermal conductive bar, and the surface of the copper thermal conductive bar is coated with aluminum including a bayonet cap, but excluding the copper thermal conductive bar part at the fixated aluminum plate, in order to form a light blocking wall (A) and a light blocking wall (B). The lower part structure has a long copper thermal conductive bar. For the illuminating lamp and a vehicle head lamp, the light source supporting body is inserted into an aluminum radiant heat pedestal whose center is a cavity unit, using the long copper thermal conductive bar. The fore-end unit of the copper thermal conductive bar is fixated at a deeply inserted position into the cavity unit. Then, the radiant heat from the light emitting diodes can be released to the aluminum radiant heat pedestal by cooling the long copper thermal conductive bar. |
