An apparatus and a method for caching web browser information based on a resource type are disclosed. The caching apparatus for a web browser may include: a priority setting unit which sets up the priority of resources related to a web browser; and a caching unit which caches the resources related to the web browser to a first storage medium or a type of a storage medium different from a type of the first storage medium according to the priority.
