<p>The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating, and treating diabetes. According to the present invention, the composition containing an extract of Pimpinella brachycarpa as an active ingredient has an excellent alpha glucosidase inhibiting activity and a high glucose-absorption inhibiting activity.
