<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device in which where trouble occurs can be grasped in detail even when a detection signal indicating rotation of a transportation roller cannot be acquired.SOLUTION: A control part 135 normally rotates a transportation roller 76 for a time t1 and confirms generation of a pulse signal by a read header 37 of a rotary encoder 32 and a signal of a sensor 153. The control part 135 gives notice that trouble occurs to the rotary encoder 32 when the generation of the pulse signal by the read header 37 of the rotary encoder 32 cannot be confirmed and the signal of the sensor 153 can be confirmed, and gives notice that trouble occurs to the transportation motor 76 when the generation of the pulse signal by the read header 37 of the rotary encoder 32 cannot be confirmed and the signal of the sensor 153 cannot be confirmed either.</p> |
