<p>PURPOSE: A decelerator of an electric power assistance steering device is provided to improve assembly stability, reduce product costs, and to simplify an assembly process by removing a grease coating process between a worm shaft and a shaft connection unit. CONSTITUTION: A decelerator of an electric power assistance steering device connects a driving shaft and a worm shaft(310) of a motor(146) with a shaft connection unit(305) in order to transmit steering auxiliary power. A driving shaft connection hole and a worm shaft connection hole(303) are individually formed on both sides of the shaft connection unit. An axis direction groove and an axis direction protrusion(303a) are included in the inner periphery of the worm shaft connection hole, and a groove and a protrusion(313) are included on the outer periphery of the worm shaft. An elastic support(320) is elastically supported in a radial direction on one side or both sides of the inner periphery of the worm shaft connection hole and the outer periphery of the worm shaft.</p> |
