PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension that allows an easy continuity inspection, and a suspension, a suspension having an element and a hard disk using the substrate for suspension.SOLUTION: A substrate for suspension includes: a metal support substrate, an insulator layer, a wiring layer and a protective layer sequentially laminated. The substrate for suspension further includes: a head part mounting an element on one end in a longer direction; and on the other end, a tail part connected to an external circuit. In the substrate for suspension, the wiring layer has a terminal part connected to the element; and a pad part exposed from the protective layer and electrically connected to the terminal part. The pad part has a width wider than that of the terminal part. |
