PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant having excellent antioxidant action and high safety, cosmetics using the antioxidant and food and drink.SOLUTION: There are provided an antioxidant containing indole-3-carboxylic acid, cosmetics using the antioxidant and food and drink. The blended amounts of indole-3-carboxylic acid in each composition of the antioxidant, cosmetics, food and drink are not specified, but it is preferable to be in ranges of 0.01 to 20 mass% or preferably 0.1 to 10 mass%. |
