PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce errors in protruding amounts of the central portion of a nip member.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a long-sized nip member (nip plate 130); an endless belt (fixing belt 110); a rotator (pressure roller 150) sandwiching the endless belt with the nip member; and a stay 160 having a first support surface 164 that supports the nip member and a second support surface 165 that is placed on a downstream side away from the first support surface 164 and that supports the nip member. A first distance L1 is the distance from a central portion (A2) of a first downstream end 164A of the first support surface 164 to a central portion (B5) of a second upstream end 165B of the second support surface 165. Distances L2, L3 longer than the first distance L1 are the distances from end portions (A1, A3) of the first downstream end 164A to end portions (B4, B6) of the second upstream end 165B respectively. |
