PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a designable area with good appearance quality produced using a photocurable liquid composition, which is photo-cured simply and quickly even when located in hidden dark areas, for bonding an image display module and a light-transmissive cover board.SOLUTION: An image display device manufacturing method involves; preparing a curable composition (I) 8 containing a polymerizable compound (A) having one or more carbon-carbon double bonds, a photopolymerization initiator (B), and an organic peroxide (C) and a curable composition (II) containing the compound (A), a photopolymerization initiator (B), a fourth period transition metal element compound (D), and a reductant (E); applying the curable composition (I) 8 and the curable composition (II) on a light-transmissive protection cover board and an image display module such that the two compositions do not come into contact with each other; half-curing the curable composition (II) by light irradiation; bringing the curable composition (I) 8 and the curable composition (II) into contact with each other by putting the light-transmissive protection cover board and the image display module together; and then irradiating the compositions with light. |
