1. A portable storage device for providing supplemental mass storage to a host electronic device to which the storage device is coupled, the storage device comprising:
non-volatile memory for providing a mass storage function for a host electronic device to which the storage device is coupled; a host device interface via which the storage device may be coupled to a host electronic device and provide a mass storage function to the host electronic device; a computing environment operable to execute one or more applications on the storage device; and a display interface for coupling the storage device to an electronic display, and via which a graphical output generated by an application that is being executed on the storage device may be displayed on a display when the storage device is coupled to a suitable display device via the display interface.
