PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having clear designs and patterns on a surface.SOLUTION: An absorbent article extending in a longitudinal direction includes: a liquid permeable top sheet provided on one side in a thickness direction of the absorbent article; a liquid impermeable or water-repellent back sheet provided on the other side in the thickness direction; an absorber interposed between them; and a liquid permeable second sheet interposed between the top sheet and the absorber. The second sheet is a bulky sheet with density of 20 to 40 g/cm, and the top sheet and the second sheet are mutually related by concave embossment of a prescribed design depressed from the top sheet toward the second sheet.
