<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated structure of an LED chip and a lens for a surface mounting type LED, capable of ensuring high reliability.SOLUTION: In an integrated structure of a light-emitting diode chip and a lens, a convex lens unit is formed on a supporting structure of the light-emitting diode (LED) chip via an intermediate intervening layer having thickness of 0.05-1.54 mm, the LED chip attached to the supporting structure is embedded at a position opposing to the convex lens unit on the intermediate intervening layer or from the intermediate intervening layer to the convex lens unit, and the intermediate intervening layer and the convex lens unit are integrally formed of the same silicone rubber material.</p> |
