PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause progressive reproduction in download broadcasting to perform appropriately.SOLUTION: A metadata 62 in download broadcasting comprises content attribute information 91 and content distribution information 92. Progressive DL information 92A is embedded in the content distribution information 92. A download rate state means information for distinguishing four modes, "low speed DL", "high speed DL", "uniform DL", and "indeterminate" as an operating mode of the download broadcasting. In addition, when the information indicating the "low speed DL" is embedded as the download rate state in the metadata 62, reproduction delay time is further embedded in the progressive DL information 92A.
