<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation element having a configuration capable of solving the problem that a conventional oscillation element could not secure inter-element isolation in a low frequency region, and the suppression of a parasitic oscillation in its configuration was difficult.SOLUTION: The oscillation element has, on a substrate, a plurality of resonance structures for causing electromagnetic waves to resonate. Each of the resonance structures is provided with a negative resistance element 107 for generating an electromagnetic wave, a first conductor 103 electrically in contact with the negative resistance element, and a second conductor 104 electrically in contact with the negative resistance element and provided on an opposite side of the first conductor. A metal part 105 capacitance-coupled with the first conductor is used to connect between the adjacent resonance structures, the resonance structures being arranged apart from each other by a distance less than or equal to the wavelength of an oscillated electromagnetic wave, or equal to an integral multiple of the wavelength.</p> |
