PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid for inkjet recording, which gives a high image density and shows excellent dispersion stability of a pigment and storage stability.SOLUTION: An ink for inkjet recording is provided, which comprises at least water, a water-soluble solvent, a pigment and a copolymer including a salt of a phosphonic acid group. The copolymer including a salt of a phosphonic acid group includes at least: a structural unit expressed by formula (1); and an aromatic vinyl monomer such as styrene or an α-olefin having 7 to 22 carbon atoms. In formula (1), not less than half or all of Mrepresent a cation of alkali metal or an organic ammonium ion, while the rest represents a proton. |
