PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet capable of imparting high glossiness or durability to a printed matter, and having superior foil cutting property of the transferable protective layer when producing the printed matter.SOLUTION: A protective layer transfer sheet 10 includes a transferable protective layer 20 formed on a base material 1, which can be peeled from the base material. The transferable protective layer 20 has a lamination structure in which two or more layers are laminated. Of the layers forming the transferable protective layer 20, a bottom layer 2 is arranged at a position closest to the base material 1 and contains a polyethylene wax and a phenoxy resin whose weight-average molecular weight (Mw) is 20000 to 40000. Of the layers forming the transferable protective layer 20, the outermost surface layer 4 arranged at a position farthest from the base material 1 is a layer having adhesiveness.
