PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device and the like which can efficiently lend electronic books.SOLUTION: A server managing lending of electronic books has: a lending part which performs processing to lend electronic books to a user terminal; and a browse time DB for storing a non-reading time zone when an electronic book being lent is not browsed by the user terminal. Moreover, the server has a reserved book DB storing user IDs of a reserver who has reserved lending of electronic books; and a distribution part which transmits to the user terminal of the reserver who has reserved lending of the electronic book being lent information that allows the electronic book to be browsed in the non-reading time zone.
