PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier fastening structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle which achieves weight reduction in a structure for fixing a carrier.SOLUTION: A carrier fastening structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle includes: a seat 27; a tail light unit 840 disposed at a vehicle rear part; rear covers 67A, 67B which cover the vehicle rear part; a carrier 850 disposed at the rear side of the seat 27; and a pair of left and right seat rails. Further, the carrier fastening structure of the saddle-riding type vehicle includes a cross member which connects the seat rails with each other. The carrier 850 is fixed to the cross member and is disposed between a lower edge of a rear part of the seat 27 and an upper edge of the tail light unit 840.
