摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device and a wireless transmission system capable of deciding an optimum rank even in a case where there is fading of frequency selectivity in a wireless transmission path that can communicate by a MIMO wireless transmission system.SOLUTION: A signal-to-interference noise ratio (SINR) is calculated for each of a plurality of sub carriers of each transmission stream on the basis of signals transmitted and received by a plurality of transmission streams. A channel capacity is calculated for each of the plurality of sub carriers on the basis of the SINR calculated for each sub carrier. An index value for the channel capacity obtained by summing up or averaging on a frequency axis the plurality of channel capacities each calculated for each of the plurality of sub carriers, is calculated for each of a plurality of ranks of a wireless transmission path. A rank used for next data transmission in the wireless transmission path is decided on the basis of the index value of the channel capacity, that is calculated for each of the plurality of ranks.</p>
